Our Love Story

We met in a college class at Dixie State in St. George, Utah and it was love at first sight.
I came in and sat in the back row and Bobbie sat on the front row. I knew there was something different about this girl later to find out she would be my wife. I did what I could to get her attention by volunteering to participate in class activities just so I could get noticed by Bobbie. One of these actives was stuffing my face full of Zingers at 7:30am for an economics activity.
I was finally able to find Bobbie on Facebook and wrote her a message asking her to help me study for class even though that wasn't what I was worried about. I just didn't have the courage to talk to this beautiful girl in person. I just knew I wanted to get to know her.
Everything happened so fast from there. As much as we both fought it (mostly Bobbie), we knew there was an instant connection.
The first date was to Sonic to get Cherry Limeaides and then went to the park and sat on the swings and just talked for hours. These talks became more and more common. Right after the first date, Bobbie made me cupcakes for a road trip I was going on.
We later found out we attended the same church congregation where we were later both called to be greeters, which meant we welcomed everyone to the meeting. This was Bobbie's first calling and she fulfilled it with excitement.
We began ring shopping and were engaged June 7, 2009. This was just five months after we met, but have never looked back. I proposed on the St. George Temple Grounds.
We were married in the St. George, Utah LDS Temple, the same place I proposed, on September 24, 2009.
Yes, it was very fast and people probably thought we were crazy. We were both young and still in college, but our love continues to grow each day. We are best friends and love doing everything together.
